Inspired by @epodcaster’s NaPodPoMo post today, 10 Days of NaPodPoMo = 1/3 Completed! that includes the questions – “What have been some of the expected and unexpected challenges you’ve encountered so far? Has the tech gotten easier? Have you found your show flow and podcasting style? Are you still encountering recording challenges?”

Also, if you’re only seeing this message in my Hive Post, please check back in a bit for my expanded post with show notes. I’m no longer including that text in my Aureal Episode description, as it doesn’t format well on the aureal site.

Show Notes for NaPodPoMo So Far
Here are some of the things I mention in the episode –
♦️ The official site for #NaPodPoMo – National Podcast Post Month
♦️ First, apologies for most likely mispronouncing your name, @tengolotodo (but pretty sure I said, “Ed” correctly…lol). But this is an example of one of his podcasts that is so awesomely done – Halloween 🎃 – It’s Actually Scottish.
♦️ The OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software) software that @eddiespino recommended. I’ve only gotten as far as downloading it, but I can’t wait to check it all out.
♦️ The voice recording app I use on my phone is Easy Voice Recorder
♦️ The wireless headset I’ve been borrowing every day since the 2nd (when I realized how bad my ear buds sounded) are Wyze Noise-Cancelling Headphones. Not sure why there’s such a difference as with both, I talk in the direction of the mic on my phone, but I did a test with both before doing my podcast that second day, and having the ear buds in resulting in the quiet, hissy sounding recording.
♦️ For those not on Hive (or who are, but have somehow not heard of it), the 3speak Dapp (decentralized app) is what I plan to check out after this month is over, so I can have visuals added to my podcasts (using the aforementioned OBS Studio software).
That’s it for today!
So if you have a question, please drop it as a reply to any of my AMA posts this month (either here on Hive or on my aforementioned WP blog), and thanks in advance for giving me fodder for my chatter!
Happy listening all!
Oh, and here is my post on Hive and yesterday’s post on WordPress.
