Calling on my Steemit Friends again - PLEASE vote for @steemitbloggers in the 10k SP delegation contest!

Apologies to my readers/WordPress blogging friends – yes, this is another post about Steemit, asking all Steemians to PLEASE vote for the @steemitbloggers/aka #powerhousecreatives community in the 10k SP delegation contest!. However, I believe so strongly in this community and this platform that I want to do whatever I can to support it. I’ll try to keep the begging short and sweet! 😊

Yesterday, when I quickly banged out a post about the contest (run by the awesomely generous @theycallmedan) the Steemit Bloggers/Power House Creatives were in, I honestly didn’t think we had a chance. Our community is small compared to others with members in the thousands, but that’s what makes it so special. Every member of our family (because that’s what we’ve become) has been personally chosen to participate, and has to follow easy-but-strict rules in order to stay. And it’s fair – people who’ve been there since the beginning get the same amount of love and support as do people who joined us last week.

I think it shows in how well we’re currently doing in the poll – out of the ten AWESOMESAUCE communities in the running. we are bouncing around in the top two spots, with one other community running a very close third.

At the moment, we’re only 12 votes away from first place, with less than 5 days left to go before the poll closes.

Oh, and for those not familiar with the platform, essentially getting a delegation of this size will increase the amount of support the Steemit Bloggers/Power House Creatives can show to the community. I did a breakdown of the numbers below –

Right now, a single 100% Steemit Bloggers vote is worth = $ 0.05
Current Steem Power (with member delegations, including my tiny bit) = 2,996.11 SP
With a 10K delegation, a single 100% vote would be worth = $0.21

I know it doesn’t seem like much, but to us that’s HUGE!

Oh, and I had access to this information because this decentralized platform is transparent like that, especially thanks to the AMAZEBALLS website SteemWorld (created by the always awesome Steem developer @steemchiller). Accountability is one of the myriad of cool things that Steemit offers as a platform, but I’ll save that gushing for another day/post. 😊
