Welcome to another Foto Friday! Bit of a shameless plug before I get started – I have a small number of photos available for sale on Fine Art America (thanks to a request from a Facebook friend, who bought one of my moon shots in April 2016), and I’m slowly adding to my inventory over at Zazzle. If there’s a picture I’ve taken that you’d like to see on a particular product, feel free to shout out, and I’ll get it put together in short-ish order.
Now, on to the pictures for this week. These were all taken with my Nikon between August 18th and August 25th, 2017.
Happy Friday, and have a great weekend!
Dragonfly, Nuthatch, Dandelion. Furthermore, this is not a passive voice. Finally, I am writing in an active voice. My SEO will stop telling me how to write. Awww, thanks Noelle! Yeah, not terribly fond of the locusts in person, but I thought it looked cool on camera. In fact, a few days ago, one dive-bombed me when I was outside with our dog – you probably heard my shriek clear across the pond! 😀
Funny you should say that, Denzil – just yesterday, the dragonflies were being particularly cooperative (one even sat on my hand for a time), and I ended up a bazillion shots. I think this coming Foto Friday will be “Dragonflies, dragonflies, and more dragonflies!” 😀

The dandelion is rather fetching.
Thanks, April!
The dragon fly is most unusual !
He was very friendly too, Mom – he landed on Sid’s leash and hung out there for a few minutes before flying over to the rock. Sooooo cool!
Traci, you’re an amazing photographer! The locust freaks me out though..

Oh, I’d lose my life Traci!
Wow! You really take some incredible pictures!
Aww, thanks Phil!
super photos as always Traci. You should make a post just of your dragonflies; I think they are incredible insects.

Very nice especially liked the raindrops on the yellow rose Traci.
Thank you so much, Marje! 🙂
Love the dragonfly. I had one on my window staring in at me. It left before I could get a picture.
Coolness, GC! And thanks!
