While last Friday was a bit different, here again are my favorite photos of the week for Foto Friday 21. Before we get on with the pictures, I wanted to mention that today also happens to be my 51st birthday. I have essentially the same wish list as last year, but I updated it a bit.
Ways to wish me a happy birthday (if you are so inclined) –
- Perform a random act of kindness today
- Perform one random act of kindness every day for the next 51 days
- Subscribe to my eldest daughter’s YouTube channel
- Buy yourself a new book. Any book will do, but my personal recommendations are something by the multi-talented authors Jane Alexander and Roxie J. Zwicker, or the fabulous writing team of Amanda Washington and Tracey Jackson.
- Leave a review on Amazon after reading your new book. Authors everywhere will appreciate it!
- Read a new blog. Mel’s #MicroblogMondays post is a great way to find bloggers who post at least once a week, but you could just Google an interest of yours, followed by the word, “blog” and I’m sure interesting stuff will pop up.
- Leave a comment on a blog post. Even a simple, “cool stuff” will make a bloggers day!
- Treat yourself to lovely, handcrafted creation. I follow tons of Etsy shops, but my favorite at the moment (which also happens to be featured in my sidebar) is Wired In Hawaii
- Share this blog post and ask others to pick something from the list

While last Friday was a bit different, here again are my favorite photos of the week for Foto Friday 21. While I don’t plan to turn Fandom Fridays into Foto Fridays exclusively. Another for the time being, this is a great way to share some of the gazillion pictures I’m taking with my new camera. Because after getting carried away for the first month or so, I decided to limit myself to seven photos each week. This week, it was actually eight. Oh, and today happens to be my birthday.
