FF – I heart The X-Files

They’re baa-aack…

And yes, technically Carol Anne and crew are also back (although our favorite spooky child is now named Madison), but I’m talking about the spectacular spookiness that launched a thousand ‘shippers.

Hubby and I started watching from the very beginning, way back a gazillion years ago in 1993. We’re definitely bigger fans of the first seven seasons than of seasons eight and nine, and honestly, when I heard the announcement, my initial reaction was more like this –

with a little of this thrown in for good measure –

Then I remembered this –

Now with DD’s confirmation that we’ll be seeing old favorites like Cancer Man –

and Skinner –

It gives me hope that the old chemistry will be back. Who knows – maybe we’ll even see these guys back (yes, we watched their spinoff, while it lasted) –

So, let us toast to the upcoming revival –

And yes, I want to believe (that it will rock!) –
