NOTE – Last week I tested out a new WordPress plugin called SteemPress. I’m happy to report it went amazingly well! There were a few minor hiccups, but 99% of them were my oopsie. Now, instead of creating two separate posts (one for Steemit and one for WordPress, like I had been doing), I can just create one on WP, and it will publish automatically on Steemit at the same time (or even however many minutes later, if I wanted).
Now, on with the Tarot Tuesday stuff!
In case you haven’t heard yet, there’s now a community called @steemittarot.
So if you’re interested, check out the feed over at @steemittarot or the hash tag #tarottuesday for awesome offerings from amazing Steemians.
Here’s my offering for the upcoming week, beginning today (June 12th 29th, 2018) …
Happy Tarot Tuesday!
First, a brief rundown on how I put this reading together each week –
I use my very old & extremely well-loved Universal Waite Smith Tarot Deck to draw the cards. Then, because the cards are definitely not ready for their closeup, I photograph the cards using my stand-in Radiant Deck. Oh, and yes – it’s a new picture of the back of the cards every week.
Now for my reading. This is how it works – pick the card (or cards) that you’re drawn to, then scroll to the bottom of this post for the card reveal and my short interpretation of what to expect in the upcoming week. If more than one strikes your fancy, go for it! In fact, I’ve been told there are some who pick all three cards each week, and use this as a mini past/present/future reading! 😊
All set? Then it’s time to scroll to the bottom of the post for the big reveal.
Usually, this is the part where I have a wicked cool song from one of the extremely talented musicians on Steemit, that I use for my scrolling music (which is a way to make sure you don’t glimpse the card faces before you’ve made your choice). However, I’ve been a bit of a ghost this past week (story for another day), so instead I’m taking a page from @amariespeaks‘s book. She uses original word art from her Instagram for people to scroll past, so I decided to use one of the bazillion quotos I created over the past few years, using my photography and quotes other people provided.
Okay, now it’s time for the big card reveal. Your message for this week is…
Drum roll, please and thank you
This!
1. Eight of Swords
Time to get moving. You’re stuck. None of the choices available to you seem right, so you’ve stopped moving forward. You’re afraid that if you make the wrong one, you’ll get hurt. However if you stay put, the choices only get worse. Stop overthinking and take a step – yes, there might be a little owie, but soon you’ll be back on the right track, and the pain will be behind you. As the saying (which makes me sentimental for my hometown of Gloucester, MA) goes, it’s time to fish or cut bait.
2. Five of Wands
Little fish meets big pond. You have that thing that you’re really good at, but lately you feel like you’re just one of many people who are good at it too. You’re afraid you don’t stand out from the competition. The bad news is, you’re right. The good news is, all you need to do is to get out there and battle for your spot. Once you’ve joined the fight for supremacy, you’ll get a sense of what you can do to make yourself stand out from all the others. Remind yourself, “in a world of Muggles, be Hermione“. Staying on the sidelines and bemoaning the fact that no one pays attention to you won’t get you the attention you want or deserve. Fight for it!
3. The Sun
Bask in the rays! It’s that glorious moment when Dorothy opens the door and steps into Oz for the first time. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and you can see the path before you (not to mention, the wicked witch hasn’t shown up yet with her downer, shoe stealing vibes). Enjoy this moment to the fullest, and maybe even to spread the rays of sunshine to the people around you with a random act of kindness or two. It’s the time to say, “goodbye to my weakness/ so long to the regret/ and now I see the world through diamond eyes!”
So, what did you think of your message? Please be sure to shout out in the comment section, and let me know what you thought. And, as is the case with all my posts, if you enjoyed it, please feel free to share. Bright blessings!

Thanks! Tuning in for the first time bit l9ve the cheerful energy! Back soon
You’re very welcome, Joan and coolness! I look forward to your return visit!
Whew, eight of swords–how very apt, right now. I’m in the middle of a huge project and nothing seems to be going right, so I’ve hit a stand-still. I keep doing everything except this project, because I keep having to backtrack and fix things because nothing is what I want. But of course, it’s very important for me to get this project DONE ALREADY, so I know I need to push through it, for better or worse.
Ugh! Drives me nuts when a project misbehaves like that! Sending oodles of good project energy your way, Adie, and I hope everything falls into place soon!
Thanks!
