Free Tarot Card Reading for the Week of June 5th, 2018

NOTE – Today, I’m testing out a new WordPress plugin called SteemPress. Instead of creating two separate posts (one for Steemit and one for WordPress, like I’ve been doing), I can now just create my post as usual on WP, and it will automatically publish on Steemit at the same time! I foresee this plugin as being a great way to streamline (or should that be, “steemline”) my blogging!

So there might be a hiccup or three, and things might look a bit different as I try to incorporate both blogs/worlds into one!

Here’s a brief rundown on how I put this reading together every week –

I use my very old & extremely well-loved Universal Waite Smith Tarot Deck to draw the cards. Then, because the cards are definitely not ready for their closeup, I photograph the cards using my stand-in Radiant Deck. Oh, and yes – it’s a new picture of the back of the cards every week.

Now for my reading. This is how it works – pick the card (or cards) that you’re drawn to, then scroll to the bottom of this post for the card reveal and my short interpretation of what to expect in the upcoming week. If more than one strikes your fancy, go for it! In fact, I’ve been told there are some who pick all three cards each week, and use this as a mini past/present/future reading! 😊

All set? Then it’s time to scroll to the bottom of the post for the big reveal.

1 Five of Pentacles

You are not alone. You’re lost. You’ve had a bunch of setbacks, and you feel like you have nothing left. No worries – there is help available, right around the corner, but you have to swallow your pride and ask. Things will be better soon, and you’ll definitely know who your true friends are. As Kate Bush said to Peter Gabriel, “Don’t give up ’cause you have friends. Don’t give up you’re not the only one. Don’t give up no reason to be ashamed. Don’t give up you still have us. 2. The Chariot

Find your middle ground. As Mr Miyagi said, “Better learn balance. Balance is key. Balance good, karate good. Everything good. Balance bad, better pack up, go home. Understand?” Think of the two horses in the card as being negative and positive emotions – if you focus solely on urging one ahead to win the race, you’ll soon be off-balance and your carriage will overturn. Keep a tight and balanced hold on your reins, harness your power, and gallop ahead to victory.

3. King of Wands

Take Charge Time. You have the intelligence, you have the determination. Now point that wand in the direction you want to go, and don’t even think about wavering from your path until you get to your destination. See that itty bitty little salamander in the bottom right corner of the card? Think of it as a baby dragon (since salamanders are associated with fire), who just needs encouragement and direction. Soon it will be a fiercesome force to be reckoned with, and you will be as formidable as the Mother of Dragons.
