QUICK NOTE – Things are still a bit hectic, so while I’ll have these posts scheduled to upload every Tuesday at 8am EST, I’m not sure when I’ll have them up on Facebook and such. Feel free to bookmark the Tarot Tuesday category page, and you’re welcome to share the posts on your wall, or tweet, pin, stumble, tumble, and whatever other social media strikes your fancy. Hopefully things will quiet down around here soon – I wrote a bit about what’s going on HERE and HERE and HERE if you want to take a peek.
Now, without further ado, welcome to Tarot Tuesday for the week of August 8th! My monthly free Tarot card readings were so popular, I decided to make them a weekly feature. If you want to catch the next one, be sure to follow my blog, stalk my Facebook, Twitter, or other social media (all my links are in the widget on the left). I shout out just about everywhere when I have a new post up.
For those wondering, I use my Universal Waite Smith Tarot Deck to draw the cards, but since it’s so well loved (I’ve owned it for a bazillion years), I then substitute my Radiant Deck for the photographs. Also, while it probably doesn’t need to be said, I’m saying it anyway – this is for fun, and my messages should never be a substitute for your own good judgement and common sense. In fact, that applies to most things in life – if your gut tells you it’s not right, always listen.
Now, on to the reading! Pick the card (or cards) that you’re drawn to, then scroll down to the bottom of this post for the card reveal and my short interpretation of what to expect in the upcoming week.
Okay, you’ve picked your card, right?

This!
1. Four of Swords
Take a break. You’ve been “Go Speed Racer Go” for some time now, and it’s understandable that you’re running out of gas. Time to pull over to a rest stop, refuel, and just relax for a bit. You need a little time off your feet (physically and mentally), so you can get back on the road and not worry about breaking down. And yes, this is one of those scary looking cards that tends to get misinterpreted, but I personally call this the “chill out” card. *grin*
2. The Moon
Something mystical this way comes. You know the craziness that arrives with the full moon? You’re about to get your own personal full moon-itis. You’ll find yourself saying many times over, “What the absolute *insert profanity of choice* is going on?” But like a roller coaster ride (which is what your life will feel like for a short time), you have the option to squeeze your eyes shut, hang on to the handrail, and scream the whole time, or toss your arms up in the air like you just don’t care (after making sure your seat belt is fastened), hoot & holler, and enjoy the hell out of it. Your creative juices are also in high gear, so go for the gusto and make your dreams come true!
3. Ace of Wands
Opportunity awaits! Something has sparked for you, and now is the time to fan that tiny spark into a roaring fire. Keep in mind, if all you do is light a match, you’ll never create that bonfire. You also need to do the work to get those flames burning, instead of just imagining how warm it will be. The time for planning, prepping, and pondering is done – now it’s time to take that first, definitive step forward. You might even be heading in a new direction altogether from what you planned. Either way, it’s time to make your dreams a reality!

So, what did you think of your message? Please be sure to shout out in the comment section, and let me know what you thought. And, as is the case with all my posts, if you enjoyed it, please feel free to share.
Bright blessings!
I effin’ LOVE you! xox
LMAO! I’m guessing that means I gave you a good card again, eh? I wicked love you too, Lorna!
Thanks Traci! Why am I finding it increasingly hard to pick the card though? I’m looking at all 3 & I don’t seem to be able to pick one! It’s such a simple task, but for the past few weeks I’ve struggled. Maybe all 3 cards are meant for me?! I’ve Stumbled & Flipped you xx
You’re very welcome, Miss Wicked Awesomesauceness! Not at all strange to pick all 3 cards – in fact, some people treat this as a mini, three card reading every week. And thanks so much for the sharing love, darling Hayley!
But of course. No problem for you my love. Maybe I’m a 3 card kinda girl at the moment ha xx
Hey, nothing wrong with having 3 once in a while… *innocent grin*
Thank you, Traci! Always so incredibly accurate!!! Cher xo
Awesome, Cher! Thanks for shouting out! ❤️
Ooh I really hope my creative juices are flowing– I need to get my novel moving and grooving again!
Coolness, Becca – sending tons of good writerly vibes your way as you start to rock & roll! 😀
Great read as always, very relevant, thank you! xx
Thanks, dearest rival… I mean, Samantha! 😀
I was drawn toward # 2 but feel way more like #1 ;). Lots of stuff to think about as always! Thank you!
You’re very welcome, Marie!
Number 3! Ace! I love it! 🙂
Awesome, Noelle! 😀
Hi!
I picked 1, and I do agree a little chill out time is warranted! But I found myself wondering about the mystical, too. Since I had my eye on 2 until the slightly askew nature of the orientation of the first card made me think that was some kind of sign that I should be drawn to it. Basically, I’m overthinking this!
Since I have a headache at the moment, I think that’s a good sign that a chill out evening would be the best cure. Number 1, all the way.
🙂
No doubt about it, number 1 was my card. I didn’t even consider the others. And your interpretation could not have been more spot on! I found myself feeling overwhelmed and in need of a physical and mental break this summer, and am now on the last of my three weeks I took off from work. Thanks for the fun post!
