Free Tarot Card Reading for the Week of November 14th 2017

NOTE: I’m working on a post, updating what’s been up with my health. It’s taken a bit longer than expected (I planned to post it yesterday – oopsies!) but as soon as it’s done, I’ll come back here and drop in a link. Thanks to everyone for the messages of encouragement – I truly appreciate it!

EDITED TO ADD: Here it is – Not So Wordless Monday – a breakdown of my body’s breakdown

Welcome to Tarot Tuesday for the week of November 14th! My monthly free Tarot card readings were so popular, I decided to make them a weekly feature. If you want to be sure to catch the next one, you can follow my blog on WordPress or Bloglovin’, stalk my Facebook, Twitter, or other social media (all my links are in the widget on the left), or simply bookmark this site and set an alarm on your phone for Tuesdays at 8am EST.

For those wondering, I use my Universal Waite Smith Tarot Deck to draw the cards, but since it’s so well loved (I’ve owned it for a bazillion years), I then substitute my Radiant Deck for the photographs. And for the record, I take a new picture of the card backs every week – first, I do the cards face up, then flip them over and take a snap of the back. I add the numbers and such with Canva, and use the picture from the top of the post to create the blog graphic.

Also, while it probably doesn’t need to be said, I’m saying it anyway – this is for fun, and my messages should never be a substitute for your own good judgement and common sense. In fact, that applies to most things in life – if your gut tells you it’s not right, always listen.

Now, on to the reading! Pick the card (or cards) that you’re drawn to, then scroll down to the bottom of this post for the card reveal and my short interpretation of what to expect in the upcoming week.

1. Two of Pentacles

Juggling act. On the one hand, you have your passion – on the other, your responsibilities. You need to make sure you’re giving enough time, energy, and attention to both. I tend to draw this card when I need to reassess how I’m getting things done (or not), and refocus my priorities. There are some stormy seas behind you, but if you manage to keep your balls in the air a little longer, help will arrive. Like the Little River Band says, “Are you always in confusion? Surrounded by illusion? Sort it out. You’ll make out. Seem to make a good beginning, someone else ends up winning. Don’t seem fair? Don’t you care. Hang on. Help is on its way.”

2. Six of Pentacles

Help is needed. You’re generous. Whenever you have more than you need (time, money, love), you give freely to others, and enjoy the feeling that comes with doing good. Now it might be time to let someone give to you. There’s no shame in having a need, and by accepting help, you’re giving someone else the gift of feeling good about their actions. However, pay close attention to the man holding the carefully balanced scale in card picture. It’s a reminder that “You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes well you just might find, you get what you need.

3. Six of Wands

You did it! You had a rough go of it, and tons of competition (not to mention complications), but you pulled it off. However, you’re feeling a bit like William Thatcher/Sir Ulrich von Liechtenstein – either you feel someone else is getting the credit (in William’s case, his alias), or maybe you don’t feel you’re worthy. You totally kicked butt, and it’s time to own it! Stand tall and appreciate what you accomplished – you did yourself proud! Keep in mind what was said in the movie – “Young William Thacher: Some day, I’ll be a knight. Man in Stocks: A Thachers son? A knight? You might as well try to change the stars! Young William Thacher: Can it be done father? Can a man change the stars? John Thatcher: Yes William. If he believes enough, a man can do anything.

November 14th 2017 Tarot. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. I will keep going while until you turn green. I can’t believe this is still orange. Finally, it has turned. Success! November 14th 2017 Tarot. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write.
