NOTE: Now that my ophthalmologist determined my vision issues are situational and not a sign of impending blindness, I’m feeling much better about being at my keyboard. However, since the blurriness still makes screen time challenging (and triggers headaches), I’m going to be scarce for a bit longer. I do have a
ridiculously detailedhealth update in the works for next Monday. Can’t wait to get caught up!
Welcome to another Foto Friday! Bit of a shameless plug before I get started – I have a small number of photos available for sale on Fine Art America (thanks to a request from a Facebook friend, who bought one of my moon shots in April 2016), and I’m slowly adding to my inventory over at Zazzle. If there’s a picture I’ve taken that you’d like to see on a particular product, feel free to shout out, and I’ll get it put together in short-ish order.
Now, on to the pictures. These were all taken with my Nikon during the past week.

Bats
Last August, I managed to snag two shots of a bat as it darted past the full moon. One came out clear enough that I’m still happy dancing about it. While lightning hasn’t struck twice, I was still treated to the sight of a group of bats dancing around the moon. The haziness of the air (and my eyes) made it difficult to get a clear shot, but I did managed these.
Happy Friday, and have a great weekend!
Full Moon before, during, and after plus bats. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. Especially since most of the sentences in this post are not mine. Full Moon before, during, and after plus bats. I will keep going while until you turn green. I can’t believe this is still orange. Finally, it has turned. Success! First, this is not a passive voice. Thank you. I can go to bed happy. That detailed shot in the blue sky is amazing. It made me want to rush out and buy a telescope.
