Happy Tuesday! Welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday readings – this time, for the week of May 28 2019. If this is the first time you’ve run across one of my Tarot Tuesday posts, this is how it works –
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!
After you’ve decided on your card or cards, you scroll down the page for photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Oh, and don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this on the exact day. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I feel I should also mention…
Now we’re ready to get started. Here is a photo of the backs of the cards for this week. Oh, and to clarify, yes – I do take a new one for each reading (some people have asked if it’s always the same shot). Take a moment to focus, then look at the photo of the three cards to decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. When you’re ready, scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.
Also, to make sure you don’t accidentally see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m using a picture as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. Back in May 2017, I put together a whole bunch of quotos for a photo challenge. This particular one is from (May 24th, 2017, and since I had a tiny ladybug land on my hand yesterday, I thought it would be a good choice for today.
Now it’s time for the reveal. Here’s the picture of the card faces…
…and here are my interpretations/messages for each card…
1. Knight of Pentacles
Keep your focus. You were so excited and full of energy when you took the first step on your new journey. Now you feel like you’ve lost your steam, and all you’re doing is trudging along, without getting any closer to your goal. Don’t give up hope! Stick to your plan, stay focused on the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and remember what Amelia Earhart said – “The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.”
Tarot Tidbit: The Knight of Pentacles was last seen, also in the first position, just two weeks ago on May 14th, 2019. This is also the third week in a row a knight has been in the first position – twice with Pentacles, and once (last week) with Wands.
2. Two of Pentacles
Juggling act. On the one hand, you have your passion – on the other, your responsibilities. You need to make sure you’re giving enough time, energy, and attention to both. I tend to draw this card when I need to reassess how I’m getting things done (or not), and refocus my priorities. There are some stormy seas behind you, but if you manage to keep your balls in the air a little longer, help will arrive. Like the Little River Band says, “Are you always in confusion? Surrounded by illusion? Sort it out. You’ll make out. Seem to make a good beginning, someone else ends up winning. Don’t seem fair? Don’t you care. Hang on. Help is on its way.”
Tarot Tidbit: The Two of Pentacles was last seen, in the first position, at the beginning of the year, on January 15th, 2019. Also on that date, in somewhat of a case of card buddies (a term I came up with for cards that previously showed up in readings together), the Knight of Pentacles was in the third position.
3. Queen of Cups
Trust your intuition. Time to listen to your heart, and not your head. Sit, meditate, and reflect on all aspects of the situation, and try to figure out what makes emotional, if not practical, sense. This might also call for a hefty dose of compassion – sometimes simply being supportive for someone is all they need. Channeling your inner Miss Honey and using a listening ear, an open mind, and a bazillion hugs can go a long way towards healing and understanding.
Tarot Tidbit: Queen of Cups was last seen also fairly recently, also in the third position, on April 30th 2018.
I hope you enjoyed your message for this week, and bright blessings to you!
Thanks for stopping by!
