How is it Tuesday again already? Although if this means our New England winter is speeding by, I certainly won’t complain. That being said, it’s time for another one of my Tarot Tuesday readings – this time, for the week of February 19 2019.
One quick thing I wanted to mention before we get started. I do things a tiny bit different than some of the other card readers on social media. If this is the first time you’ve visited one of my Tarot posts, this is how I’ve set it up –
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!
After you’ve decided on your card or cards, you scroll down the page for photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Oh, and don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this on the exact day. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I should also mention…
Now, let’s get started. Here’s a photo of the backs of the cards (and yes, this is a new picture every week). Take a moment to decide which one (or ones) speak to you. When you’re ready, then go ahead and make your choice.
Next here’s a bit of spoiler prevention in the form of a photo, to make sure you don’t accidentally see the card faces before you’ve made your choice. In honor of today’s Super Full Snow Moon in Virgo, here’s a quoto I put together for a Tarot Tuesday spacer last November, using one of my shots from last year.
Now it’s message time! Here’s the front of the cards…
…and here are my interpretations for each one…
1. Ten of Wands
The Burden. This card tends to show up for me when I’ve gotten caught in, “Fine, I’ll do it myself” mode. You know, when you think you need to do absolutely everything yourself, because no one else can do it the right way? And what happens when you do everything yourself? Yep, you get exhausted. All your creative juices are drying up. It’s time to put down the burden, and let someone else carry it for a while – even small, simple things, once delegated, will help you regain your spark. As the saying goes, “a burden shared is a burden halved.”
Tarot Tidbit: The Ten of Wands was last seen, in the third position, at the very beginning of the year on January 1st, 2019.
2. Three of Wands
Expand your horizons. You’ve done the preliminary leg work, and soon you will see the fruits of your labors. However, now that you’ve taken those steps, don’t assume this is it – there could still be other opportunities out there. Take a moment to look at the bigger picture. Keep an open mind, stay aware, and be confident. It’s time to, “Take your passion/And make it happen!”
Tarot Tidbit: The Three of Wands hasn’t actually been since in almost exactly a year! The last time it appeared, it was in the third position way, way back on February 20th, 2018.
3. Seven of Wands
Never give up, never surrender. You’ve been fighting the good fight, and thought you were almost there. Now, all of a sudden, you feel like you’re being attacked on all sides. Don’t despair – keep on keeping on, and you will soon find victory at hand. Try to bear in mind that people are probably giving you such a hard time because they want what you have (financially or creatively). Jealousy tends to bring out the worst in people. Oh, and yes – “Never give up, never surrender” is a quote from, “Galaxy Quest.” *grin*
Tarot Tidbit: The Seven of Wands was last seen, in the first position, back last fall, on September 25th, 2018.
Brightest of blessings to you in the week ahead!
