Microblog Monday – International Delurking Week 2017

Thanks to a couple of wonderful bloggers (looking at you, Em and Mel), I was reminded of International Delurking Week. While it technically happens the first week in January, I’m giving it a go this week. In fact, for each of my four posts (Musing/Microblog Monday, Tarot Tuesday, Witchy Wednesday, and Foto Friday) I’ll start with this –

Hello, lurkers! In honor of Delurking Week 2017, I’m asking all my readers to take a moment to leave a comment saying, “hello!” Better yet, shout out and tell me a little bit about yourself, and what brings you to my corner of cyberspace. Even if you’d rather not, thank you so much for stopping by!

Delurking Week 2017. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. Especially since most of the sentences in this post are not mine. I will keep going while until you turn green. Delurking Week 2017. I can’t believe this is still orange. Finally, it has turned. Success! First, this is not a passive voice. 1. I am not a lurker and I always love being around. Your Tarot card feature is so cool and your pictures are my favorite. So happy to have found you, Traci. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you so much, Parul! I’m also so very glad to have connected with you through #MM – your blog always makes me happy (pun definitely intended! *grin*). <3

    1. Definitely not a lurker, Shail! Thanks for the, “hi” and the compliment! I especially appreciate it, knowing what awesome photos you take yourself. πŸ˜€

  2. I feel like delurking week can be celebrated whenever. We’re always up for the festivities. But I’m trying to remember how we first met! Was it BlogHer?

    1. I’m pretty sure we met through #MM. I discovered it during NaBloPoMo in 2014, and I don’t think I’ve missed a Monday since. Somewhere along the line, we connected through BlogHer as well.

    1. *waves hello to Jess* Yep, you a definitely not a lurker, and I feel the same way about your blog! In fact, I really should make it a point to visit more #MM blogs on other days of the week. And thanks!

  3. I don’t think I’m a lurker as I love leaving lots of comments around the blogosphere but hello anyway! I don’t know much about you so I will have a rummage on your blog right now. I found you on Microblog Mondays…

Feel free to shout out!
