To be fair, I’m a little bit biased in my declaration that this gorgeous and talented person is a rising YouTube star, given that she’s my firstborn. And yes, I’ve blogged about her channel before. But look – two thousand other people can’t be wrong, right?
Cailli hit this milestone a couple of days ago, and I can tell you that she worked very hard to reach it. She’s not a sub4sub kind of girl – she prefers to post genuine comments on other videos, do collabs with other beauty bloggers, and chat with people through social media. The result – she has a smaller, but engaged group of fans that grows larger by the day.
I could rave about how she was invited to the GenBeauty New York event last fall (as well as the IPSY VIP cocktail hour the night before), or brag that some brands are now following her on social media and sending her products, and that she’s heading to California at the end of the month to attend GenBeauty LA (again, as a VIP). I could, but I won’t. *grin*
Suffice to say, I’m very proud of my baby. Feel free to check out her channel (the link to her most recent video is below) and see for yourself. Be sure to tell her I sent you!

Wow! Lots to be proud of. Congratulations mama!
Thanks, Cristy! 😀
My six year old watched that with me, and at the end, she says, “That’s so sexy!” Lol… she’s SIX! Where does she get this stuff?
Seriously- you should be a proud mama. She’s a talented girl!
LOL! That’s awesome – I showed Cailli what your daughter said, and she laughed too. And thank you!
Congratulations to her!
My daughter would covet that black lipstick.
Thanks, Mel.
Even I want that lipstick, and I haven’t worn makeup in years. 🙂
That’s fabulous ! Way to go!
Thank you, Stephanie!
Wow — she’s great, and what a milestone (honestly passed — that’s huge)! I should introduce my daughter to your daughter. She’s always looking for this kind of expertise.
I’ll do it tonight.
Thank you, Lori! I’m extra proud of her for not going the easy route, and going for numbers instead of connections. She said in her time on YouTube, she’s run across plenty of people who have a huge subscriber base, but hardly any likes or comments on their videos (known as, “ghost subs”). She really enjoys the interaction on her channel, and was willing to build it up one by one. And thank you so much for sharing this with your daughter – I hope she enjoys Cailli’s channel! 🙂
Gorgeous, and such a clear tutorial! She is an artist for sure. Love the sparkly black eye with the black lip.
This is becoming her signature look, and she’s getting recognized at events because of it. It’s so amusing to me, because she’s “picked” on me for years about my love of dark clothing – she’s always been a bright color girl, and her room is all pastels and girly. Loving the irony of it. 🙂 Thank you so much for your feedback, Jess!
Congratulations. My daughter is looking to launch herselt soon. I shall send her the link. I am acquainted with a few successful video bloggers and am hppy to pass her on to those folks are are willing to share their expertise.
Aww, thanks Middle Girl! Any sharing of her channel is very welcome and appreciated. Cailli has a great group of vloggers that she does collabs with – if your daughter is interested in connecting with them, be sure to shout out, and I’ll make sure they keep an eye out for her. Thanks again!
Wow! Congratulations, Traci.
Thank you, Vinitha!
Very cool. She must have gotten her good looks from her mum! I’d love to be able to wear makeup like that! But I’d probably end up looking like a zombie.
It never ceases to amaze me that I raised two girly-girls who are very talented with makeup (the youngest doesn’t do YouTube, though) when I’m so cosmetologically-challenged. *grin* And thanks for the compliment, deathstar – your check is in the mail. 😀
