Back when all my crazy health problems started, I mentioned I’d come up with a favorite summer drink recipe. I’ve finally put together a graphic for this so-simple-I-hesitate-to-call-it-a-recipe recipe.
Side note: while I mention brand names, it’s only because they are my favorite, not because I’m being compensated in any way (other than good karma, of course). Feel free to substitute your own faves, and play with the amounts. Oh, but the link to the ice tea spoons is an affiliate link, because I happened to remember at the last minute (which might explain why it takes me months and months to hit the $10 payout goal… *grin*).
Boru Vodka & Ice Cream Drink Recipe
Ingredients:
Scoop the ice cream into a big mug, and pour the vodka over it. Swirl it around a bit with an iced tea spoon, then top with whipped cream. Please enjoy responsibly.

Holy shit this looks good. This might be a game changer for me.
It hits all the right notes for me – it almost tastes like a toll house cookie and a chocolate martini had a baby!
Yum!!! Wondering about a hot drink for the cold weather. Many buttered rum?
Oooo, that’s definitely a possibility! Thanks for the inspiration, Cristy. I’ll do another post like this when I come up with something.
Omg, I think I’ve just put on a few pounds just drooling over that photo!
LOL! Actually Bobbi, I don’t think that’s the way it works. You actually lost weight, burning all those calories by drooling. You’re welcome. *wicked grin*
Ok I’m not a vodka drinker, BUT I need to get on this. It sounds AMAZING!
You totally do! To quote a waitress who served me a different vodka drink last time hubby & I were out, “it’s happiness in a glass.”
This sounds super duper yummy. I hope this “elixir” moves you forward on your healing path.
Thanks, Lori!
This looks decadent! I think this would be an amazing thing to serve at Christmas, New Years or lunch tomorrow! Thank you!!!
You’re very welcome, Angela! Be sure to shout out and let me know what you think after you’ve tried it!
This looks like an awesome drink! Thanks for sharing it!

Coolness! Hope you enjoy, Ruth!
Oh man! I’d have to wear my stretchy pants for that drink 😉
And it’s so worth it, Diana… *grin*
Espresso Martini is my all time favourite and a bloody Mary comes a close second after that if it has Vodka in it …That’s cool 🙂
Ooo, haven’t had an Espresso Martini before. Must investigate further – thanks for the tip, Carol!
It is so nice Traci..You will love it!
