A few days ago, I did a kind of a photography catch-up post (Random photos from the first half of June), because even though I’ve still been taking pictures on an almost daily basis (something I’ve been doing for a few years now), I haven’t done anything with them beyond downloading them off my camera. Since today is the last day of June, and it’s absitively posolutely too hot to venture outside (currently 89F/32C but according to our local news station, the “real feel” is 96F/36C), I figured it would be a good time to go through all my shots from the second half of the month.
These were all taken (except where noted) in our Durham NH yard, using my trusty Nikon COOLPIX P610 , sometimes with my handy dandy tripod (Amazon affiliate links – thanks for the pennies if you click through and order something…LOL). I use the Auto Mode setting, sometimes adding a filler flash (something I’ve recently been experimenting with – never thought of it as being useful for outdoor photography, but it really is!).
Here they are, pretty much in the order I shot them. Hope you enjoy!

Such beautiful pictures. I particularly liked the Black Eyed Susans.
