Happy Tarot Tuesday! I’m back again with another free reading, this time for the week starting today, September 11th, 2018. And no worries if you’re reading this on Wednesday, or Saturday, or such – the message is meant to encompass your whole week.
First up though, I wanted to give a shout out to the wicked awesomesauce group of Tarot folks on Steemit. There is an account, called Steemit Tarot devoted to weekly Tarot readings, card info, and other excellent stuff. While you have to be a member of Steemit to comment and/or upvote, you don’t have to join to read posts.
For more info, check out the intro post for the @steemittarot account at this link – Introducing the Steemit Tarot community.
Now without further delay, here’s my reading!
Welcome to another Tarot Tuesday!
To begin with, here’s some background on how I put this reading together each week –
I use my very old & extremely well-loved Universal Waite Smith Tarot Deck to draw the cards. Then, because the cards are definitely not ready for their closeup, I photograph the cards using my stand-in Radiant Deck. Oh, and yes – it’s a new picture of the back of the cards every week.
Next, this is how the reading works – pick a card from the photo below that you are drawn to. If more than one strikes your fancy, go ahead – pick two! In fact, I’ve had people tell me they pick all three cards each week, and use it as a past/present/future reading.
After you’ve picked your card(s), scroll down the page for the card reveal and my short interpretation of what to expect in the upcoming week.
And to ensure you don’t see the card reveal before you picked your card, I’ve been using one of the bazillion infographics I’ve created over the years as a kind of spacer/spoiler preventer. This week’s comes from a post I did back in May 2017 called, Quote Challenge for National Photography Month 2017 – Week 5 Results
Now it’s finally time for the big card reveal! Your message for this week is…
Could I get a drum roll, please & thank you…
This!
1. The Hermit
Time for quiet contemplation. You need solitude. Some quiet time to reflect on things without distractions. It could be as simple as 15 minutes alone in a room without electronics or interruptions. But this isn’t the time to rest or nap – this is a chance to actively listen to your inner voice and see what it’s saying to you. Try something like journaling or guided meditation, and see how loud the silence can be.
2. The Hanged Man
Let go. Sometimes when you struggle to untie a knot, the more you pull at it, the tighter it gets. You’ve been tugging at a rope (an argument, a relationship, a situation) trying to get it untangled, but it’s only making things worse. Now it’s time to surrender, at least for a little while. Decide not to decide. Let things be for now. Do as the late, great John Lennon did when he was, “just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round, I really love to watch them roll. No longer riding on the merry-go-round, I just had to let it go.” You might even find that when you stop pulling, the knot releases on its own.
3. The Fool
Take that step! You have the chance to start down a new road, full of possibilities. Don’t second guess yourself – trust where this path is taking you, and make that leap! While you’ve been worrying that you’re not ready, and you still have to gather your things, just look – you’re already carrying everything you need with you. One word of caution – make sure you watch where you’re going. If you get caught up in the excitement, and start daydreaming while staring at the clouds, you may find yourself stepping off a cliff. Simply pay attention to your surroundings, put one foot in front of the other, and your journey will be magical.
Extra Tarot tidbit: Wow, all Major Arcana cards – talk about an overall powerful for this post-new moon week! I also found it interesting that the last time each of these cards appeared, they were all in the first position – The Hermit on April 10th 2018, The Hanged Man on May 8th 2018 and The Fool on May 29th 2018. So that means they are now appearing in the order they previously appeared (if that makes sense…LOL). Not sure if that is significant for someone, but thought I’d mention it just in case.
I hope your message resonated for you. If not, maybe revisit what your message was towards the end of the week, and see if the meaning becomes clear then. Also, you’re welcome to shout out in the comment section, and most definitely welcome to share this link around. Bright blessings!
Thanks for stopping by!

Wow! It has been a long time (if my memory is serving me correctly) when all three came from the Major Arcana. A momemtous week!
I’m fairly certain you are correct, Bee! I haven’t looked it up yet (I have all the readings recorded on a spreadsheet), but I think it was the beginning of last October when we last saw three Majors at once. Definitely big energy on the move!
Hello I’m a Gemini. Very interested in your readibgs. Hope to see you in my mailbox
Hi Karen! Thanks, and I hope you enjoy the weekly readings!
