#SublimeSunday - Four Funky Goldfinch Glimpse Fantasy Fotos Times Three

First up, just like I’ve said the past couple of weeks, Four Funky Goldfinch Glimpse Fantasy Fotos Times Three is just my ~~almost annoyingly alliterative~~ way of saying, “Twelve Goldfinch pictures I goofed around with.” 😊

Speaking of a couple weeks ago, that’s when I got the idea to edit out the background of one of my butterfly pictures (using LunaPic) so I could put it on a more aesthetically pleasing background for a #FunkyEdits Sublime Sunday kind of thing. What started as a ten minute experiment turned into an afternoon/evening long frenzy of picking out free backgrounds on Canva.

I couldn’t resist doing it again last week, and this week is no different. There’s just something almost meditative in going through the graphics, deciding how to place my isolated element of the week, how to filter – not to mention the relaxing “paint by numbers” experience of making the original background transparent.

This week’s subject comes from my recent Goldfinch Glimpses for a Feathered Friday on a Throwback Thursday post. Goldfinches are one of my mother’s favorite birds, which is why I picked them as a subject for this week. Here’s the specific one I picked for the funky edit treatment…

For the record, I couldn’t find a comparable image on Canva, so I got that particular background from StockSnap over at Pixabay
