#SublimeSunday – Winter Sunrises

When I first started participating in the #SublimeSunday tag, before I started doing the funky edits, I did a post called Mostly Silent Winter Storm. This week, I thought I’d take a break from birds & butterflies, and put together a collection of some of my shots of winter sunrises.

At first, I was just planning to do sunrises, especially since, surprisingly enough, I seem to have more of those photos than of actual sunsets (although I have a bazillion and one sunset skies). The reason this night owl manages more early shots is two-fold – first up, hubby gets up just this side of omg’oclock for work, and secondly given how this property is set up, we barely get a glimpse of the sun when it sets behind the trees.

Then when I took a look at the first dozen I found, I realized they were all taken in February, March, April, November, and December of 2015 to 2017. I’m posting them in order from oldest to most recent.

One last thing before I get to the Winter Sunrises – be sure to check out tag host @c0ff33a‘s most recent #SublimeSunday post for more info on this wicked cool initiative – 🙌🏽Sublime Sunday🙌🏽 An excuse to post your random, creative or crazy ideas by @c0ff33a ☕️
