Tarot Tuesday for November 6 2018

Quick little side note before we begin – I’ve been even more absent than usual from social media in the past week, and will most likely continue my ghostly presence for a bit longer. I managed to catch a cold from the eldest (which she got courtesy of a volunteering stint at a local film festival) and it’s apparently nice and cozy in my chest and refuses to leave. Between that and my somewhat recent discovery that eye tremors are a thing, and are exacerbated by screen use (at least they seem to be in my case), my time online at the moment is limited. I’m hoping to change that in the very near future.

And with that – Hello & happy Tarot Tuesday! It’s time for your reading for the week ahead beginning today, November 6 2018. For those of you just joining me for the first time, it works like so – first, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!

1. Strength

Believe in yourself. People have told you time and time again that you couldn’t do it alone, because you weren’t (strong, smart, tough) enough. Nonsense! As Glinda said to Dorothy, “You don’t need to be helped any longer. You’ve always had the power to go back to Kansas.” Okay, maybe a visit to Auntie Em and Uncle Henry’s farm isn’t on your wish list, but you have the courage and compassion to tame the beast of self-doubt.

Tarot Tidbit: Strength was last seen in the second position as recently as on August 21st, 2018.

2. Ten of Wands

The Burden. This card tends to show up for me when I’ve gotten caught in, “Fine, I’ll do it myself” mode. You know, when you think you need to do absolutely everything yourself, because no one else can do it the right way? And what happens when you do everything yourself? Yep, you get exhausted. All your creative juices are drying up. It’s time to put down the burden, and let someone else carry it for a while – even small, simple things, once delegated, will help you regain your spark. As the saying goes, “a burden shared is a burden halved.”

Tarot Tidbit: The Ten of Wands was last seen also in the second position back on July 10th 2018.

3. The Lovers

Love. True love. You’ve found someone or something that speaks to your soul. Now comes the hard part – keeping that love going. See how (on the card) the man is looking at the woman, but she is staring at the angelic creature in the sky? He has to trust when she says she’s seeing it, and she needs to communicate what she sees. Trust and communication. If this is about your soul’s passion, you need to trust yourself and communicate with those involved. Did I mention trust and communicate? *grin*
