Time for another Tarot Tuesday reading, this time for the week beginning today, November 27 2018. Quick aside before I begin – thanks so much to everyone who dropped dollars in my PayPal account last to help us out with the unexpected vet bills, which arrived along with this awesomesauce addition to our family. I plan to do an update on the particulars soon
Now, for those of you joining me for the first time, it works something like this:
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!
After you’ve decided on your card or cards, scroll on down the page for the card reveal and message for the upcoming week.
Also, don’t worry if you don’t happen to see it on the exact day. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
Here are the backs of the cards…
Just to make sure you don’t accidentally see the card faces before you’ve made your choice, I’m using a picture as a kind of spacer/spoiler prevention. While I missed getting photos of the Full Frost Moon a few days ago (mostly because the weather was more than living up to the name, and temps around here were in the teens!), I figured I’d put together a new quoto with one of my shots from last year.
Okay, now are you ready for your message reveal? The faces of the three cards are…
…and my interpretations for each are as follows:
1. Page of Swords
Storm’s coming. There’s a quote by an unknown author floating around social media that reminds me of this card – “Fate whispers to the warrior, “You cannot withstand the storm. And the warrior whispers back, “I am the storm.” You have the energy, the knowledge, and the drive to get what you want. The biggest challenge comes in harnessing the power of the lightning, before the storm passes. Grab it quick while you can, and “heart to heart you’ll win“!
2. Three of Cups
Time to celebrate. . Cue the dance music. Things are falling into place, even if you don’t see all the pieces yet. It’s time to grab your family and friends (local or online) and get your groove thing on. Don’t stop to try and analyze the situation – just enjoy the (practical) magic of the moment, and give in to the joy. Even if it’s something as simple as turning up the radio and dancing around in your kitchen with some midnight margaritas. You deserve this happiness.
3. King of Swords
Cut to the chase. You’re smart. No one knows more about this situation, and how to fix it, than yourself. You know what the solution is, and you’re just the person to make it work. One caution – while you’re right to feel proud of what you’re about to accomplish, make sure you don’t accidentally step on any toes. Don’t fall for the classic blunder of being like Vizzini, instead, ask yourself, “WWWD (What Would Westley Do?)” Soon enough, you’ll have everything, “as you wish.”
Tarot Tidbit: All three of these cards showed up early last month. The Page of Swords (in the third position) on October 2nd, and both the Three of Cups (first) and King of Swords (second) on the 9th.
I hope your message resonated. Oh, and for more Tarot awesomeness, check out the @steemittarot account. There’s all kinds of weekly Tarot readings, card info, and other excellent cartomancy coolness.
