Rabbit, rabbit and welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday posts! I started doing these free readings monthly back in late 2015, then switched to every week in early 2016. They’re by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today’s reading is for the week of December 1st 2020.
Quick shout out before we get started – I wanted to remind my Hive blockchain friends (or anyone that’s on Twitter and wants to check it out) that in a little less than an hour, I’ll be taking the mic for the 20th #HiveChat! I was lucky enough to host @hivechat #3 way back on August 4th, 2020, but this one will be geared towards the Hive Power Up Day that is also today! Be sure to stop by my Twitter account, or scan the Hive Chat hash tag on Twitter to join in the fun! And when the chat is over, I plan to scroll through and drop some @hivetips via my @hiveblogshare account (with thanks to @theycallmedan for providing the Hive). Chatting with other Hiveans about power up day with a chance to score a bit of Hive – what’s not to love? 😊
And now with that said, it’s time to start the reading. The setup of how I do these was not my original idea – I was actually inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them (usually posting the card backs first, then the messages at a later time), here’s a quick breakdown on how this works…
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like!
When you’ve decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Also, don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I would also like to mention…
Now here are the backs of the cards for this week. Take a moment to clear your mind, inhale and exhale deeply, center yourself – whatever you need to do to focus. When you’re ready, take a look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for the picture of the front of the cards, and your message.
Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m putting some of my infographics here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. And yes, I know this seems a bit early considering that Christmas is over three weeks away… oh wait, that really isn’t that far off, is it? LOL! Okay, so this is a graphic I put together years ago, and have redone a few times since. This is the latest version – please feel free to share if you’d like.

Now it’s time for the big reveal! Here are the fronts of the cards…
…and the messages for each card are…
1. The Moon
Something mystical this way comes. You know the craziness that arrives with the full moon? You’re about to get your own personal full moon-itis. You’ll find yourself saying many times over, “What the absolute *insert profanity of choice* is going on?” But like a roller coaster ride (which is what your life will feel like for a short time), you have the option to squeeze your eyes shut, hang on to the handrail, and scream the whole time, or toss your arms up in the air like you just don’t care (after making sure your seat belt is fastened), hoot & holler, and enjoy the hell out of it. Your creative juices are also in high gear, so go for the gusto and make your dreams come true!
Tarot Tidbit: The Moon was last seen, in the second position, just three weeks ago on November 10th, 2020. Prior to that, it hadn’t been seen since the beginning of the year, when it was in the first position on February 18th, 2020.
2. King of Cups
Calm, cool, collected. There’s been a great deal of drama in your life as of late, and the King is here to remind you that you can have emotions, but you are in control of them, not the other way around. See how he manages to keep his cup steady, even in the stormiest seas? He’s mastered the art of expressing feelings in a calm and mature manner. The logical mind and the intuitive heart can work together successfully, if you practice enough. And keep in mind, like Incubus says in Drive, “…lately I am beginning to find/That I should be the one behind the wheel.”
Tarot Tidbit: This is only the fourth time the King of Cups has made an appearance on a Tarot Tuesday. The most recent time was back on April 7th, 2020, when it was in the first position.
3. Eight of Pentacles
Back to the drawing board.. One of the best, most reliable ways to make things better is slow, steady, and focused work. You’ve been scattered and unfocused because of the turmoil around you. It’s time to take a deep breath, and if necessary, start from the beginning again. Try not to think about the end game – instead give your attention to ensuring the details are right, and you’re doing your best work. And don’t despair – you were definitely on the right track, and as Maxwell Smart would say, you only “missed it by that much” and you’ll be back on track in no time!
Tarot Tidbit: The Eight of Pentacles was last seen, in the second position, back on February 25th, 2020. It also showed up just the week before that (on February 11th, 2020) in the third position, but before that, it hadn’t been spotted in over a year!
I hope you enjoyed your message for the week of December 1st 2020! Bright blessings to you!
Thanks for stopping by!
