Tarot Tuesday reading for the week of February 18th 2020

Welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday posts! I started doing these free readings monthly back in late 2015, then switched to every week in early 2016. They’re by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today’s reading is for the week of February 18th 2020.

The method of doing these readings is not my original idea – I was inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them, here’s a quick breakdown on how this works…

First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like!

When you’ve decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.

Also, don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊

I would also like to mention…

Here are the backs of the cards for this week. Take a moment to clear your mind, inhale and exhale deeply, center yourself – whatever you need to do to focus. When you’re ready, take a look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.

Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m putting a graphic here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. With the new moon coming up on the 23rd, and in recognition that Spring really isn’t all that far away, I thought I’d update this Gardener’s New Moon Spell (by Llewellyn author Dallas Jennifer Cobb) graphic that I did for my Witch Quote Challenge Week 3, back in 2017 (using one of my new moon photos).

1. The Moon

Something mystical this way comes. You know the craziness that arrives with the full moon? You’re about to get your own personal full moon-itis. You’ll find yourself saying many times over, “What the absolute *insert profanity of choice* is going on?” But like a roller coaster ride (which is what your life will feel like for a short time), you have the option to squeeze your eyes shut, hang on to the handrail, and scream the whole time, or toss your arms up in the air like you just don’t care (after making sure your seat belt is fastened), hoot & holler, and enjoy the hell out of it. Your creative juices are also in high gear, so go for the gusto and make your dreams come true!

Tarot Tidbit: The Moon was last seen, also in the first position, on December 10th, 2019.

2. Knight of Wands

Charge ahead! You’re all fired up. It’s time to take action now, and go after this full tilt. You have the courage and the drive – just trust in yourself, and let your confidence inspire others to do the same. Need a little help lighting the flame? Cue up your favorite Roar-type song, give ’em your best Xena warcry, and let the battle begin!

Tarot Tidbit: The Knight of Wands was last seen last summer, in the first position, on August 6th, 2019.

1. King of Pentacles

Tried & true will get you through . This King is more a great overseer than a leader. He can take a step back and see the big picture, and employ practical solutions to reach his goals. This is what you need to do to create your prosperity – take a calm look around, focus on quality not quantity, and soon enough you’ll be saying, “Been dreaming of this since a child/I’m on top of the world/I’ve tried to cut these corners/Try to take the easy way out/I kept on falling short of something/I coulda gave up then but/Then again I couldn’t have ’cause/I’ve traveled all this way for something.” That something is within your grasp.
