Tarot Tuesday reading for the week of February 25th 2020

Welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday posts! I started doing these free readings monthly back in late 2015, then switched to every week in early 2016. They’re by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today’s reading is for the week of February 25th 2020.

The method of doing these readings is not my original idea – I was inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them, here’s a quick breakdown on how this works…

First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like!

When you’ve decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.

Also, don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊

I would also like to mention…

Here are the backs of the cards for this week. Take a moment to clear your mind, inhale and exhale deeply, center yourself – whatever you need to do to focus. When you’re ready, take a look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.

Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m putting a graphic here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. I put this graphic together a couple of days ago, in honor of the Dark/New Moon in Pisces on the 23rd. I used a shot I took of the crescent moon in December 2016, and paired it with some the lyrics of one of my sentimental favorite witchy songs, Dark of the Moon by Libana.

1. Four of Swords

Take a break. You’ve been “Go Speed Racer Go” for some time now, and it’s understandable that you’re running out of gas. Time to pull over to a rest stop, refuel, and just relax for a bit. You need a little time off your feet (physically and mentally), so you can get back on the road and not worry about breaking down. And yes, this is one of those scary looking cards that tends to get misinterpreted, but I personally call this the “chill out” card. *grin*

Tarot Tidbit: The Four of Swords was last seen, also in the first position, just a couple months ago on December 3rd, 2019.

2. Eight of Pentacles

Back to the drawing board.. One of the best, most reliable ways to make things better is slow, steady, and focused work. You’ve been scattered and unfocused because of the turmoil around you. It’s time to take a deep breath, and if necessary, start from the beginning again. Try not to think about the end game – instead give your attention to ensuring the details are right, and you’re doing your best work. And don’t despair – you were definitely on the right track, and as Maxwell Smart would say, you only “missed it by that much” and you’ll be back on track in no time!

Tarot Tidbit: After not being seen for over a year, The Eight of Pentacles is back for the second time in two weeks! The last time it was in the third position, on February 11th, 2020.

3. Two of Wands

Stay focused. You’ve put your plan into action, and you’re beginning to see all the possibilities before you. However, you might be tempted at this point to try a short cut in the hopes of speeding up the process. While it might pay off, sometimes it’s better to stand fast and remind yourself of what you’re working towards while continuing the slow and steady path to success. Take a moment to look at the big picture, and know that your ships are on their way in, and soon you’ll be the king of the world!

Tarot Tidbit: The Two of Wands was recently spotted, in the second position, just last month on January 21st, 2020.
