Welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday posts! I started doing these free readings monthly back in late 2015, then switched to every week in early 2016. They’re by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today’s reading is for the week of January 26th 2021.
Quick shout out to my Hive friends – I’m posting this Tarot Tuesday a bit earlier than my usual 8am EST (I’m setting it to auto post at 6am) so I can let everyone know that this week’s @hivechat is being hosted by the official @hivebuzz account! And it’s back to its usual time of 12.00 GMT/7am EST which means it’s happening in an hour! Just check out the HiveBuzz Twitter account, or take a peek at the hash tag to follow along. There are some great questions in store and the usual fun to be had – and don’t worry if you don’t make it there on time. That’s the beauty of social media – the chatter will still be there & you’re welcome to continue the conversation any time!
And now with that said, it’s time to start the reading. The setup of how I do these was not my original idea – I was actually inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them (usually posting the card backs first, then the messages at a later time), here’s a quick breakdown on how this works…
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like!
When you’ve decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Also, don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I would also like to mention…
Now here are the backs of the cards for this week. Take a moment to clear your mind, inhale and exhale deeply, center yourself – whatever you need to do to focus. When you’re ready, take a look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for the picture of the front of the cards, and your message.
Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m putting some of my infographics here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. The first full moon of the year will be here on Thursday, January 28th so I created a new infographic for it (sized for both Pinterest and Instagram), using one of my photos of the Full Wolf Moon on January 12th, 2017. Please feel free to share!

Now it’s time for the big reveal! Here are the fronts of the cards…
…and the messages for each card are…
1. Page of Wands
Look for a message. You’ve been toying with a number of ideas lately, but nothing is really sticking. However, if you look and listen closely, there’s a tiny, little spark hiding someplace, just waiting to be fanned into a big ol’ flame. It won’t happen right away – ‘tis the nature of seeds, after all – but once you’ve figured out what (and where) to plant, it won’t be long until your inspiration grows, and it will be absolutely transformative!
Tarot Tidbit: The Page of Wands hasn’t been seen in over a year! The last time it was in the second position, way back on September 10th, 2019. And before that, it was another year between appearances, showing up in the third position on November 20th, 2018 (which also happened to be my first week back after missing my first ever Tarot Tuesday posting).
2. Ace of Swords
Time for challenges. You’ve had an “AHA!” moment. Now is the moment to pick up the sword, and cut the deadwood out of your life. It might not be easy to face the truth, but you’re up for the task, and you know what needs to be done. As Buffy said to all the potential slayers, “So here’s the part where you make a choice: What if you could have that power now? …make your choice. Are you ready to be strong?”
Tarot Tidbit: The Ace of Swords was last seen, in the third position, back in the fall on September 22nd, 2020. Prior to that, it also hadn’t been seen in almost a year, showing up last (in the first position) on October 8th, 2019.
3. Queen of Swords
Cold hard truth. You’re getting caught up in emotions and speculation, so it’s no wonder you can’t make a decision. Sometimes you need to take a step back to gain some perspective. Try the “just the facts ma’am” approach – look at the situation from a practical, factual point of view, and see if the answer, as unappealing as it might be, appears. When this card shows up, I ask myself, “WWSD (what would Scully do?)” and remind myself that “Sometimes looking for extreme possibilities makes you blind to the probable explanation right in front of you.”
Tarot Tidbit: The Queen of Swords was last spotted, also back in the fall, on October 13th, 2020. But unlike the other two cards this week, it wasn’t a year or so between visits as the last appearance (in the third position) was on June 23rd, 2020 .
I hope you enjoyed your message for the week of January 26th 2021! Bright blessings to you!
Thanks for stopping by!

Speaking of witch which…
I got the page of wands, funny because I don’t usually go for a 1. I shall keep my eyes peeled for that idea, who knows what it could inspire.
Stay safe Traci. X
I got the Ace of Swords. Perfect because I’ve been editing one of my stories. 🙂
