Welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday posts! I started doing these free readings monthly back in late 2015, then switched to every week in early 2016. They’re by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today’s reading is for the week of November 3rd 2020.
Quick shout out to say that I might be a bit scarce on social media this week. My husband is using up some of his vacation days before the end of the year, and we’re hoping to get some things accomplished around the house while he’s off. I’ll still do my daily posts for HiveBloPoMo, as well as some social media shares, and I’m definitely carving out the time to get the results of the Hive Power Up Day initiative put together, but I might not be as ever present as usual until the 8th. I just didn’t want anyone to worry if I’m a bit AFK in the meantime.
And now with that said, it’s time to start the reading. The setup of how I do these was not my original idea – I was actually inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them (usually posting the card backs first, then the messages at a later time), here’s a quick breakdown on how this works…
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like!
When you’ve decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Also, don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I would also like to mention…
Now here are the backs of the cards for this week. Take a moment to clear your mind, inhale and exhale deeply, center yourself – whatever you need to do to focus. When you’re ready, take a look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for the picture of the front of the cards, and your message.
Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m putting some of my infographics here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. Since November is traditionally NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), even though I’m not planning to frantically type this month as I have in years past (although as I said I’m doing my own #HiveBloPoMo/Hive Blog Posting Month, a reworking of National Blog Posting Month), I thought it would be fitting to share some of the writing quotos I’ve put together over the years.

Now it’s time for the big reveal! Here are the fronts of the cards…
…and the messages for each card are…
1. Nine of Cups
Satisfaction is imminent. You’ve put tons of good karma, juju, and positivity into the world. Now the Universe wants to give some back. Relax, and sit by the fire for a spell while the Universe fills your cup with your favorite beverage. The innkeeper may also be asking you, what’s the good of all your hard work, if you don’t take a moment to enjoy it? Maybe it’s time to splurge on yourself a bit for a change. Every now and then, it’s good to cut loose…Footloose… kick off the Sunday shoes…
Tarot Tidbit: After not having been seen in a year and a half back on August 18th, 2020, the Nine of Cups is back again (although last time it was in the third position). Prior to that, it was again in the third position on February 12th, 2019.
2. Ten of Cups
The Rainbow Connection. Sometimes it’s hard to remember the good things in our lives, because we spend so much time struggling to overcome the bad. This card is a good reminder that our happiness doesn’t come from money, it comes from within (although if anyone ever offers me a winning lottery ticket, I wouldn’t refuse – LOL!). Take a closer look at the people in this card – they’re wearing simple clothes, have a simple home, and they’re as blissed out as they come. Stop looking outside of yourself for your happiness, and start focusing on being happy. Listen to that little voice in your head, telling you that your dreams can become a reality. Like the song says about that voice – I’ve heard it too many times to ignore it / It’s something that I’m supposed to be /Someday we’ll find it, the rainbow connection, the lovers, the dreamers and me.”
Tarot Tidbit: The Ten of Cups hasn’t been seen since the beginning of the year! The last time, it was in the third position, on January 14th, 2020. The time before that was only about four months before (on October 1st, 2019) but prior to that, it had also taken an almost year long break (last spotted on September 4th, 2018).
3. The Magician
You can create it. You’re powerful. Whatever the problem or issue is that you’ve been having, you have the the tools to solve it right at your fingertips. Don’t give away your power – claim it, use it, and you will be unstoppable. And while I know it might seem like a strange comparison, whenever I get this card, it reminds me to invoke my inner Dark Willow. Not in an “bringing about the Apocalypse out of sheer grief” kind of way – more of a “channeling the magic and tapping into your inner badass.”
Tarot Tidbit: Prior to The Magician dropping by a couple of months ago (on September 8th, 2020 in the second position) it hadn’t been seen in almost a year! The previous time, it was in the first position, back on October 1st, 2019. Before that, while it was spotted in July of 2019, the time before was well over a year, on May 8th, 2018.
Extra Tarot Tidbit: I don’t know if I can adequately express the feeling I had when I flipped these cards over, one by one, on to my desk. Seeing the Nine made me ridiculously happy, and following it with the Ten made me actually happy-shriek a tiny bit. The appearance of the Magician at the end got a straight up gasp of, “woah” to round things out. Knowing everything that’s going on in the world at the moment, let alone nationally today, I took this reading as a reminder that I am the master of my destiny, and can find (or make) my happiness regardless of the circumstances around me. I hope others can take some positivity from this layout as well.
I hope you enjoyed your message for the week of November 3rd! Bright blessings to you!
