Happy Tarot Tuesday! Welcome to another one of my weekly tarot card readings. I started posting these free readings monthly back in late 2015, then switched to every week in early 2016. They’ve been by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today’s reading is for the week of November 26th 2019.
It’s hard to believe it’s already almost the end of November, as well as only 5 weeks away from the end of 2019 – where has the time gone? And how is it that Thanksgiving will be here on Thursday? For a number of reasons, this year hubby, the kids, and I will be hanging at home, cooking up some good grub and hanging around the kitchen table together. For those of you who celebrate, I wish you many abundant blessings now and in the coming year.
Okay, now on to the Tarot reading. Since I do mine are a little different than some other readers on other social media (though it’s definitely not my original idea – in fact, I was inspired by a couple other WordPress bloggers), here’s a quick rundown on how this works…
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!
When you’ve decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Also, don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I should also mention…
Now, here are the backs of the cards (and yep, it’s a brand new picture every week). Take a moment to center yourself and focus. When you’re ready, look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. After that, scroll down to the bottom of my post for your message.
Next, to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m adding a graphic here as a bit of a spacer/spoiler prevention. Since, as I already mentioned, this is Thanksgiving week, I thought I’d put together a new infographic to replace the one I did way, way waaaaay back on February 25th, 2015 for my Witchy Wednesday post, A Witchy Food Blessing. I originally found this in Margie McArthur’s book, Wiccacraft for Families when our three were teeny tiny, and over the years we’ve changed the words a little bit. Once thing that hasn’t changed is that it always makes us smile, even if we only sit down a few times a year at the table together and say it.
Finally, it’s now time for the big reveal! Here are the fronts of the cards…
…and the messages for each card are…
1. Page of Cups
The Look of Love. I think of this as the Romeo card – time to fall in love, either with a person, a story idea, a creative project, or something of that sort. You may also be receiving a message of love from someone – maybe not as overt as flowers and chocolate, but something to show they care. It could be as simple as a bringing you a fresh cup of coffee, or sharing a Facebook meme, that shows they are thinking of you. Artistically, it’s that moment of sudden inspiration, when you see your project in a new light, or a bizarre-yet-brilliant idea presents itself – go with it.
Tarot Tidbit: We just saw the Page of Cups earlier this month, on November 5th, 2019, when it was also in the first position. Looks like it’s really trying to get its message across to someone!
2. Nine of Swords
It’s not that bad. You know the facts, and they aren’t great. But it’s not the end of the world either. Stop focusing on the fear and negativity, because all it’s doing is blowing the problem way out of proportion. No sense in wasting energy worrying about the “what ifs” – instead, look for something distracting to help you break out of this cycle of, “doom and gloom, DOOM AND GLOOM!” Maybe grab your favorite, “gotta get out of this funk” movie (mine is Stardust), and forget about your worries for a while.
Tarot Tidbit: The Nine of Swords hasn’t been seen in over a year! The last time was on October 2nd, 2018, when it was in the first position.
3. King of Wands
Take Charge Time. You have the intelligence, you have the determination. Now point that wand in the direction you want to go, and don’t even think about wavering from your path until you get to your destination. See that itty bitty little salamander in the bottom right corner of the card? Think of it as a baby dragon (since salamanders are associated with fire), who just needs encouragement and direction. Soon it will be a fiercesome force to be reckoned with, and you will be as formidable as the Mother of Dragons.
Tarot Tidbit: The King of Wands was last seen, also in the third position, back during the spring, specifically on May 7th 2019.
I hope you enjoyed your message for the week of November 26th, 2019! Bright blessings to you!
