Throwback Thursday – Rainy Flowers, Stormy Skies, and Dragonflies

A few weeks back, I started dipping into my extensive photo archives for groups of bird photos, as a type of Throwback Thursday thing. This week, I decided to expand it a bit beyond just birds.

As the weather outside is frightful yet again, I decided to comb through folders from the summer months. I found this baker’s dozen of shots left on the proverbial cutting room floor after one of my Foto Friday posts.

These were all taken in my Durham NH yard, during the last week of June 2017.

Rainy Flowers, Stormy Skies, and Dragonflies
If you squint real hard, you might be able to see the Dragonfly who photobombed this shot… lol

Hot driveway plus cooling rain equals – mother nature’s fog machine!

Crane’s-bill (aka Geranium Sanguineum) after the rain

This time it was a Mourning Dove who photobombed the shot

Sundrops covered in raindrops

The Black eyed Susans perked up after the previous day’s rain

They always seem so cheerful!

A Common Whitetail Dragonfly

He was so patient with me while I took a thousand shots!

My crow dropped by for a quick hello – seems something ruffled his feathers though…
