Throwback Thursday – Random shots from yesteryear (#SteemBloPoMo Day 25)

Last week, I’d planned to do a whole bunch of scanning, so I could post a couple dozen family Easter photos from over the past 50ish years. However, things didn’t go according to plan (like most plans…lol), but I still managed to get ten finished, and decided to just work with what I had.

This week, instead of working on more Easter pics (because I’m just not feeling it since the holiday has passed), I thought it might be cool to just randomly pick a handful of old school photographic prints to scan and post. I picked one of the gazillion bankers boxes I have, and spent a few minutes sorting through to find some. I immediately started second-guessing my choices, and wondered if instead I should do a theme, or a tag, or a…

Then I reminded myself that the goal of doing this #SteemBloPoMo thing is to not overthink, just… just…

So for today’s #SteemBloPoMo Day 25, I give you – randomness!

My mother’s profile, me, and my cousin Scott. Sadly, this photo had a bit of damage, but instead of cropping it, I decided to leave it as is.

My Grampy Souza, in 1977 on his birthday. These are actually two separate shots (obviously) but I had them in a photo album like this, and over the years they stuck together. Rather than risk damaging them by attempting to separate them, I left it as is.

A candid shot at our reception – obviously me and hubby in the back, then left to right – Jim & Jane, Aunt Mary, Mrs O’Neil (Mr O’Neil is standing in the background with the brown jacket).

Another candid – Jane seated, that same cousin Scott standing next to Jim, and me talking to Aunt Mary on the left, and Uncle Bill on the right

One of about a bazillions shots of us leaving the church in 1989, on our way to the reception hall down the street.
