Welcome to Tarot Tuesday! My monthly free Tarot card readings were so popular, I decided to make them a weekly feature. If you want to catch the next one, be sure to follow my blog, stalk my Facebook, Twitter, or other social media (all my links are in the widget on the left). I shout out just about everywhere when I have a new post up.
On to the reading! Continuing with the changes I made after I hurt my knee in October 2016 – I’ve been using my Universal Waite Smith Tarot Deck, but last month I went with the Radiant Deck, and my eldest snapped the shots for me. I liked the results so much that I employed her help again the next week, this time using the gorgeous marble slab (similar to this one) she has for her own product sharing shots. Now that I’m finally back behind the camera (even though my knee still isn’t completely healed), I’m still using her awesome setup – thanks, baby!
That being said, here’s a picture of the three cards I drew for this week. Pick the one that resonates with you, then scroll down for the card reveal and my short interpretation. Oh, and while it probably doesn’t need to be said, I’m saying it anyway – this is for fun, and my messages should never be a substitute for your own good judgement and common sense. In fact, that applies to most things in life – if your gut tells you it’s not right, always listen.
Now, here are the cards. Which one are you drawn to?
Okay, you’ve picked your card, right?

This!
1. Eight of Pentacles
Finnegan Begin Again. One of the best, most reliable ways to make things better is slow, steady, and focused work. You’ve been scattered and unfocused because of the turmoil around you. It’s time to take a deep breath, and if necessary, start from the beginning again. Try not to think about the end game – instead give your attention to ensuring the details are right, and you’re doing your best work. Oh, and thanks to the movie from the 80s (and my husband for getting it stuck in my brain), I can’t hear the phrase, “begin again” without adding Finnegan. *grin*
2. The Fool
Take that step! You have the chance to start down a new road, full of possibilities. Don’t second guess yourself – trust where this path is taking you, and make that leap! While you’ve been worrying that you’re not ready, and you still have to gather your things, just look – you’re already carrying everything you need with you. One word of caution – make sure you watch where you’re going. If you get caught up in the excitement, and start daydreaming while staring at the clouds, you may find yourself stepping off a cliff. Simply pay attention to your surroundings, and your journey will be magical.
3. Two of Swords
Should I stay or should I go? As the lyric in The Clash song says, “this indecision’s bugging me.” You’re stuck between a rock and a hard place and you can’t move until you can see what the problem is. You’ve been trying to ignore it, hoping it will go away, but that’s not the solution. Once you put down your swords, and remove your blindfold you’ll have a better idea of the answer. And judging by that crescent moon hanging in the sky on the card, you might find a new beginning as a result.

So, what did you think of your message? Please be sure to shout out in the comment section, and let me know what you thought. And, as is the case with all my posts, if you enjoyed it, please feel free to share. Bright blessings!
Perfect! Great reading, Traci!
Thank you, Beth!
Thank you for the reading. Change is good.
You’re very welcome, Michel!
Card 1, which is perfect. I am launching a new project January 1 on Instagram, a new blog in February, I am surrounded by things to do, lots of work, all of it new! I also think of this card as a card indicating craftspeople or artisans and that also fits with my goal being illustration and lots of it.
Thanks so much for this!
That’s wicked awesome, Em! And you’re so very welcome!
I got the fool! Good reminder for me!
He’s popped up for me a bunch recently, and he’s an excellent reminder. 😀
