Wednesday Walk on May 8th 2019

For today’s Wednesday Walk, I actually took a walk on a Wednesday! Specifically this morning, Wednesday May 8th 2019. I decided since we had a bit of sun that I’d take my camera and tripod along while I brought our dog out for his morning constitutional. We’re lucky enough that we have a beautiful wooded path right next to our house where Sandy and I like to wander in the morning when the weather and my body are both cooperating.

Raindrops look so much prettier when they’re lit by the sun

No worries, Mr Squirrel – I don’t want any.

The Shagbark Hickory blooms are really blooming

They look especially pretty against the blue sky

As I was heading back in, I noticed a bird singing from the treetop

When I zoomed in a bit, I realized it was a Red-winged Blackbird.
