Happy Tarot Tuesday, everyone! Welcome to another one of my weekly (free) Tarot Tuesday card readings. I’ve been doing these for a few years now, and they are by far my most popular posts. Today, this reading is for the week of August 6th 2019.
If this is the first visit you’ve stumbled across one of my Tarot Tuesday posts – thanks so much for dropping by! If you’ve been here before – thanks so much for the return visit!
I do my readings a tiny bit different than some others do theirs on other social media platforms, so here’s a little bit of an explanation about how this whole thing works –
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!
After you’ve decided on your card or cards, you scroll down the page for photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Oh, and don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this on the exact day. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I would also like to point out (as I’ve been told it’s a good idea)…
Now, it’s time to get started with your week of August 6th 2019 reading. Here is a photo of the backs of the cards for this week (and yes, I take a new picture each week). Take a moment to focus, then look at the photo to decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. When you’re ready, scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.
Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m putting a graphic here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. I know Lammas was last week, but I thought I’d included this Painted Bread Spell I put together four years ago, for when my kitchen is cool enough to bake in again. 😊
Time now to reveal the front of the cards! Here’s the photo of the card faces…
…and my interpretations/messages for each card are…
1. Knight of Wands
Charge ahead! You’re all fired up. It’s time to take action now, and go after this full tilt. You have the courage and the drive – just trust in yourself, and let your confidence inspire others to do the same. Need a little help lighting the flame? Cue up your favorite Roar-type song, give ’em your best Xena warcry, and let the battle begin!
Tarot Tidbit: The Knight of Wands was last seen this past spring, also in the first position, on May 21st, 2019.
2. The Sun
Bask in the rays! It’s that glorious moment when Dorothy opens the door and steps into Oz for the first time. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and you can see the path before you (not to mention, the wicked witch hasn’t shown up yet with her downer, shoe stealing vibes). Enjoy this moment to the fullest, and maybe even to spread the rays of sunshine to the people around you with a random act of kindness or two. It’s the time to say, “goodbye to my weakness/ so long to the regret/ and now I see the world through diamond eyes!”
Tarot Tidbit: The Sun card was last seen, in the third position, also this past spring on April 23rd, 2019.
3. The Star
Make a wish. You’ve been to hell and back, but now is the time to put that all behind you. While you can’t (and shouldn’t) erase all the memories of the bad times, it’s within your power to make a positive change for the future. Remember, sometimes luck ain’t enough, you’ve got to make your own breaks. Look at the twinkling light in the darkness, close your eyes, and see your wish as already manifested. Can’t find the light? Pick up the closest mirror – this card is also a reminder that the one who is responsible for bringing the most light into our lives is ourselves.
Tarot Tidbit: The Star card hasn’t been seen in almost exactly a year. The last time, it was in the second position, on August 7th, 2018.
Extra Tarot Tidbit: I noticed as I was putting this together that we had a case of card buddies (a term I made up for cards that previously showed up in readings together). The last time that The Star card appeared (on August 7th, 2018 in the second position), the Knight of Wands was also present, in the third position. I’m not sure if that holds any significance for anyone, but I wanted to mention it, just in case.
I hope you enjoyed your message for the week of August 6th 2019! Bright blessings to you!
Thanks for stopping by!
