Weekly Tarot Tuesday reading for July 16 2019

Hello and happy Tuesday! Welcome to another of my weekly (free) Tarot Tuesday card readings, that I’ve been doing for a few years now. This time the reading is for the week of July 16 2019.

I do things a little bit different than some others on social media, so here’s a little bit of an explanation about how this whole thing works –

First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!

After you’ve decided on your card or cards, you scroll down the page for photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.

Oh, and don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this on the exact day. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊

Now, it’s time to get started with your July 16 2019 weekly reading. Here is a photo of the backs of the cards for this week (and yes, for the record, I take a new picture each week). Take a moment to focus, then look at the photo to decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. When you’re ready, scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.

Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m putting a graphic here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. Since today is the Full Thunder Moon in Capricorn and a Lunar Eclipse, I created an infographic about it for this purpose.

…and here are my interpretations/messages for each card…

1. Nine of Pentacles

Retreat from the world. You deserve a break today, so get up and get away, to … nope, not that place. Unless, of course, you go grab a bag of Mickey D’s and bring it someplace to enjoy in solitude because up next on the menu is, “Escape, with a side of pampering.” It can be as fancy as a day of mani pedis and wine, or as simple as a quiet room with a great book (the chocolate and coffee go without saying). Indulge, indulge, indulge – plenty of time for reality tomorrow.

2. Three of Wands

Expand your horizons. You’ve done the preliminary leg work, and soon you will see the fruits of your labors. However, now that you’ve taken those steps, don’t assume this is it – there could still be other opportunities out there. Take a moment to look at the bigger picture. Keep an open mind, stay aware, and be confident. It’s time to, “Take your passion/And make it happen!”

Tarot Tidbit: The Three of Wands was seen in the same (second) position just a couple months ago, on May 21st, 2019.

3. Temperance

Work towards unity. Sometimes it feels like you’re trying to blend oil and water together, and no matter how hard you stir, they stay separated. Don’t give up hope. With careful and thoughtful actions, you can finally bring together those things that are trying to push away. Keep in mind, like my favorite Tarot website says, “a bow and arrow are useless apart, but together a formidable weapon.”

Tarot Tidbit: Temperance hasn’t been seen in almost a year! The last time it was in the second position, on July 31st,2018.
