Welcome to my Witch Quote Challenge Week 4, and final results! If you missed my post earlier this month, this is what I decided to do for National Photography Month –
The long and short of it – leave a comment below with a witch related quote, and I’ll pair it with one of my photographs, and post the result the following week. It can be a phrase from your favorite witchy author, a short spell or ritual, or a saying that really resonates with you. If you’re a blogger, be sure to leave a link as well, so I can give you a shout out. If you can’t think of anything this week, no worries – I’ll post results and ask for more quotes each Wednesday in May.
Thank you to everyone who sent me amazing words to pair with my pictures! I’m considering making this a regular feature on Witchy Wednesdays, so stay tuned!
I’m also pinning all the graphics on one of my Pinterest boards – please feel free to share them! Be sure to leave your own favorite quote in the comment section, and tune in again next week to see what I came up with.
Now, on to the graphics!
From Noelle Kelly (check out her blog HERE) –
“We’re all a little weird. And life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness—and call it love—true love.” ~ Robert Fulghum, True Love
Two from Cristy (check out her blog HERE) –
“Sky above me; earth below me; fire within me.” ~ Unknown
“Walls will find us in this life. Walls and fences and so many reasons to give up, give in. It is up to us and only us to climb them, to cling to them like leaves and grow anyway. Let the light shine through for there are always cracks. Grow. Grow defiant against the walls that tower around you, the fences that lock you in.” ~ Tyler Knott Gregson
One last thing before you go…
*** ONLY A FEW DAYS LEFT TO VOTE ***
***** Voting closes June 2nd, 2017 *****
For those who missed all my hootin’ and hollerin’, I’m over the moon right now because I’ve been nominated for one of the coveted 3rd Annual Bloggers Bash Awards! While there’s no chance I can attend the festivities in London (and given my competition, equally as doubtful I’ll have to write an acceptance speech), just the fact my humble little blog in included has me wicked psyched!
If anyone wants to cast a vote for me, here’s the link (I’m in the category, “Hidden Gem”) –

All you need to do is check off your choice, then hit the “VOTE” button – no email or photo ID needed. *grin*
Thank you to everyone who nominated me, and extra thanks to all those who visit, comment, share, and encourage me over at my little corner of the interwebz!
Fantastic picture Traci, I love it!
Whoo hoo! Like I mentioned on Twitter, I got a bit stalkerish and went looking for one of your wedding pictures (since you said this was one of your readings). I tried to use balloons in some way, failed, and ended up trying to match the red/blue colors of your shawl/his suit in the heart. So glad you love it!
Oh, and that’s a crow pair (Angel and his lady love) who’ve been visiting me for a few years. It’s one of the few photos I have of them close together. 🙂
That’s thoughtful, not stalkerish 🙂 We both love it!
Yay! 😀
Beautiful crows.
Thanks, GC!
The plants growing out of the cracks are always inspirational. Life finds a way.
Speaking of which, have one more for you.
“Normality is a paved road; It’s comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow” ~ Vincent van Gogh
Yep, love when I see life sprouting in unexpected places. Excellent quote from Vincent – think I have just the shot for it! Thanks, Cristy!
