Back by popular demand! Here is another free Tarot reading, 12-2 version (for December 2nd – I have to think of a clever way to differentiate the names of my posts). Here is a picture of the three cards I drew, from my Universal Waite Tarot Deck. Pick the one that resonates with you, then scroll down for the card and my short interpretation.
Okay, you’ve picked your card, right?

This!
My interpretation, based on what I’d think if I drew this as my daily Tarot Card.
1. Seven of Swords – The Thief. Something is being stolen from you, but not necessarily an object. Someone is stealing your good name, your energy, or your time. However, because the situation isn’t overt (they’re being very sneaky), a direct confrontation probably won’t work. Try being sneaky in return – like the old saying goes, “it takes a thief to catch a thief.”
2. Ten of Wands – The Burden. This card tends to show up for me when I’ve gotten caught in, “I’ll just do it myself” mode. You know, when you think you need to do absolutely everything yourself, because no one else can do it the right way? And what happens when you do everything yourself? Yep, you get exhausted. All your creative juices are drying up. It’s time to put down the burden, and let someone else carry it for a while – even small, simple things, once delegated, will help you regain your spark.
3. The Hierophant – The Mystic. When you’re in the middle of a crisis, and you feel like you’re all alone, this card is a reminder that all of your ancestors, your community, your family (blood or chosen) are still there with you, even if you can’t see or feel them. I like to think of this as the Mr. Miyagi card – someone who steps in and teaches you the knowledge you need to stop the bullies. Sometimes though, this card shows up for me when I get a little too wrapped up in the “right” and traditional way of doing something. It means I need to remember to honor the spirit of the ritual, and not sweat the details.
So, what did you think of your message? Please be sure to shout out in the comment section, and let me know what you thought. Oh, and if you enjoyed this, please feel free to share it.
Thanks for the card. (ten of wands) Very timely for the season. Hope you have a speedy recovery π
You’re very welcome, Diana. Thank you for the well wishes!
On the nose. This is another in a long chain of can’t-miss-it messages, both Tarot-based and other. I’ve spent a lot of years acting like a skeptic for what I thought was self protection, but after three tower cards in three different readings leading up to the murder of my dearest friend and mentor, followed by six months of his presence everywhere I go or look, and now the Hierophant on a random Wednesday as I’m sitting at my desk longing to see his face, it’s time to let something go. Thank you Traci.
You’re very welcome, Kate. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, but I’m glad you got a message that will hopefully help you to heal. Sending lots of positive energy your way.
Very nice reminder, thank you.
You’re welcome, Mark – thanks for dropping by. π
Seven of Swords!! Right on with this drawing. Had a friend I have had to distance myself from. She was so difficult to be with- negativity almost drowned me- hearing about comments from her about me from mutual friends. I am a very strong woman & I know this to shall pass. Honestly, it was like dealing with a pre-school age child only she’s 67!!
I’m sorry you had such a difficult relationship with her, Kathy, but I’m happy you know that things will get better. *hugs*
