Coming up next week is the Full Snow Moon in Virgo. While poking around the interwebz looking for information, I found a new, promising source. Here’s what The Dark Pixie Astrology has to say about the astrological significance of this moon –
A full moon occurs on February 22nd at 1:20PM at 3 degrees 33 minutes in Virgo. Virgo is the most practical sign, and brings in some practical energy that we might be needed after the lofty Aquarius new moon. With the new moon, we’re up in the air, and we come down to reality with the full moon. Hard work and practicality pay off with this full moon, and we can get a lot of the little things done, out of the way, crosses off the to do lists, and done as best as we can. We can demand perfection from ourselves and others, but that’s too much to ask for, so we have to make sure we’re not being unrealistic about our expectations.
Virgo full moons can bring a lot of stress since we try to force ourselves to do too much, so avoid that. Give yourself a break, and don’t be hard on yourself when you need some rest or don’t get everything done according to plan. You’re only human. This full moon is excellent for giving up habits that are bad for us, and making changes to our routines that will improve our daily lives and health. We need to streamline, and we need to focus on doing right by our bodies, minds, and lives.
Both Aquarius and Virgo tend to be signs that don’t show much emotion, so we can seem to be less governed by emotion in general with these new and full moons. We’re trying to keep our cool after things were very uncool in January!
I highly recommend checking out the rest of the article, called “February 2016 New & Full Moons: New Moon in Aquarius & Full Moon in Virgo.” The New/Dark moon may have passed, but there’s still lots of good info in it.
Here’s the graphic I created for the occasion, using a picture of the full moon I took last month. Bright Full Snow Moon in Virgo blessings to all!
